Building a Commercial Team for EverC (Series B Fraud and Risk Tech)

The Senior Leadership team at EverC reached out to Ortus to partner on hiring their sales teams in the UK and USA. The VP of Sales knew of Ortus’ brilliance as we have vast experience developing teams across the world with Forter, Signifyd, SEON and Merkle Science, so set us the task of searching for the following roles:

Challenges:

As EverC is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, this could have been an obstacle for looking for Account Executives in other regions across the globe. However, with our connections, EverC were able to get support from Ortus Talent with vast experience in Fraud and had a sharp eye for recruiting within these markets.

Solution:

We embarked on an extensive search for the needed roles, closely collaborating with essential stakeholders from EverC: the VP of People, HR and VP of Sales. Working with these key individuals, we were able to craft job descriptions that accurately reflected the skills and qualities needed for each role, whilst demonstrating EverC’s cultures and values, highlighting what a brilliant company it is to work for!

Through our tried and tested communication methods of weekly check-ins via Zoom and setting up a dedicated Slack Channel, we were able to work alongside our recruitment partner to source brilliant candidates who were the missing pieces to EverC’s global Enterprise Account Executive puzzle.

Results:

With our expertise and partnering with the right recruiter, we were able to approach, interview and place three out-of-this-world candidates, having an incredible 3:1 CV to hire ratio. 

As a result of the candidates found by Ortus Talent, EverC has expanded their business across UK and Europe, establishing a bigger presence in the US and forged new relationships that will take the company to new heights.
